Dylan inspected and cleaned the three fireplaces/chimneys in my 1920’s era house. He was meticulous about documenting his findings and showing me pictures and videos along the way so I could see issues in real time. He did a thorough rooftop inspection and also examined the chimneys in the crawl space (foundation) and attic. He was careful not to leave any soot behind on my floors or hearths. He discussed repair options with me and followed up the same day with a detailed written report with many pictures summarizing his findings, recommendations, and quotes for repairs. I am extremely impressed with the quality of his work and will not hesitate to have him repair my chimneys. He is clearly a man of integrity and a very good communicator. A word of caution: I found Bham Chimney Services through a Google search. LOTS of highly rated chimney sweeps came up. I concluded most of these are fronts for big out of state conglomerates (maybe). They have generic names, 10-15 reviews by people who have written only one or two reviews, and all the reviews are a single paragraph of about the same length and follow the same script. I avoided all these shell companies. Bham Chimney Services is the real deal, locally based, and Dylan is an experienced and certified chimney professional. If you need chimney cleaning or maintenance, you won’t regret calling him. I’m glad I did, and I am recommending him to my local family members.
